Pre-fish day for round 4 of the Vic Bream classic dawned and we hit the water in beautiful winter conditions – still, crisp and with a great sunrise. We were here to fish the Glenelg river in far western Victoria for the next 3 days. Pre-fish saw us

Line: 8lb j-braid grand and 4lb J-thread fluoro leader.

Jerkbaiting rods are certainly a personal preference. I don’t mind using both slow and fast taper rods. Both have their advantages and allow subtle differences in the way you can work a lure .
